Ahhhhh!!!

Today was a normal day. I didn't expect it to be out of the ordinary. That was until I was at the bank depositing a check and got a phone call. It never fails that when I see an Illinois call, I always question who would be calling me. Then I realize that there is only one person in Illinois that would call me unexpectedly!

Mike failed his final Physical Fitness test and was put with a special division that works harder to get the recruits to pass the test. He passed it this morning and was put back with his original division. However, he didn't have to join the division until it was time for Battle Stations. That left him with a 2 hr 30 min gap in time.

I got to talk to Mike for 2 hours this afternoon! It was such an amazing phone call. We talked about everything under the sun. It was easy to find things to talk about. Everything is nearing the end of boot camp. He only has 1 week left until he graduates.
