Thanksgiving

This year Thanksgiving will be unusual for both Michael and me. I will spend this holiday with just my parents. My sister and her family will be having Thanksgiving dinner with her in-laws. Thanksgiving day is also my niece's 1st birthday. We will change our tradition to a nice breakfast instead of an elaborate dinner meal. That will allow Angela and family to be together with us for the morning. As is tradition with the rest of America, my parents and I will have the usual turkey dinner later in the day....just the three of us. We will have a birthday celebration for Allyson on Saturday.

Michael is still in Mississippi and will be away from family for Thanksgiving. Many thanks to the Long Beach church of Christ for their support. They are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner at the church building. Mike was hesitant at first, but is warming up to the idea. A member of that congregation will pick Mike up in the morning and drop him off later. He'll have Friday off as well and is thinking that he's going to go to the mall in town.
